I see they are blaming a bot, but that's not really where the blame goes. Someone seriously screwed up a process, probably as a cost efficiency exercise. Its an unbelievably crass error, Unless its a deliberate sabotage by an unhappy employee
Was going to post on this yesterday, but I knew there was a good chance some would make puns on it, which I also thought would be in poor taste. It’s horrific really. Blaming a bot is obviously b0llocks. It’s the Twitter equivalent of ‘My account got hacked’
Details on the BBC website https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-63577296 I particularly struggle with Mr Maclean, a Colwyn Bay councillor and co-founder of St Joseph's Food Hub, said since posting the image he had been told Breivik was a "pretty ghastly figure". "Naturally once I was made aware of this I removed the post at once and I apologise for my mistake and any offence caused," he said. "In life we live and we learn anew each day. I am very grateful indeed to those who let me know." Where did he get the image from - didnt he check before he used it that it wasn't copyrighted and that the person in it would be OK with it being used - or did he just pick a random image from somewhere. - or did someone with a sick sense of humour stitch him up. How didn't he even know who Breivik is He was headline news for days
