    1) Winners - Argentina or Brazil
    2) Surprise team - I'd agree with Denmark, but I'm not sure whether that would be a surprise anymore. So to be different, I'll say Switzerland.
    3) Shock early exit. France, reigning champions always tend to struggle for some reason.
    4) How far will England get? Quarter finals
    5) Golden Boot. Lionel Messi, I just feel like this is his tournament.

    Rumour has it that FIFA are due to pass a law, today, declaring it illegal to score against Qatar in Qatar.
    Worse still, any goalkeeper who keeps a clean sheet against Qatar, in Qatar, shall have both his hands removed.

    More predictions - Iran will top our group. Good side, heat will suit them. Fancy them to draw 0-0 with us and beat Wales and the Yanks. We'll scrape through in second after drawing with Wales and a very uninspiring 1-0 win over the USA (Kane (pen) 87). But finishing second will suit us as Qatar will have topped their group after VAR mysteriously fails to spot their defender punching away a goalbound Dutch shot in the last minute. "The hand of Allah"

    Looking through the group fixtures, Uruguay v Portugal is the standout for me. Uruguay will out-shithouse Portugal, Ronaldo will cry, and the rest of us will herniate ourselves laughing.
