    I didn’t mean it that way. I’m sure Belgrade has its attractions like other big European capitals. Perhaps it’s just odd establishments like the one quoted that still thinks it’s the 1980s.

    Someone call Iran backwards & medieval earlier? Yes it’s riddled with corrupt & fundamentalist regimes. But Persia was one of the most sophisticated & cultured civilisations in the world, when the British were still basically living in sheds & prone to invasion.. o_O
