Summat very fishy going on me thinks. If it's not bent, I'm happy they're adding more on with all the time wasting. But I'm pretty sure it'll be something dodgy
Some dogy official type decisions do far.....forgetting the appalling VAR penalties in the England game what about us being down to 10 and Dyer trying to get on for about 5 minutes....effectively playing with 10?
It ought to happen in our league matches , there is so much time wasting in our game with players feigning injuries , throw ins taken from the wrong place , fake head injuries when teams are under pressure, goalkeepers walking from one side to the other to take kicks , the list is endless & the first thing I would do is to stop towels being used to dry the ball , just ban their use as it just takes time out of the game , there has to be something introduced to monitor added time but sticking more time on for time wasting just to show teams they will not get away with it for a start .
Most games, the ball is in play less than 60minutes out of the 90. Make it a 60 minute game where the clock stops when the ball is dead. Simple. No time wasting ever again.
no complaints about ref. - rightly clamped down on the physical challenges from the US players early in the game.
The four longest periods of added time for any single half of a game in the World Cup Finals, since records began in 1966 were all on Monday, with the top 2 being from the same game (England v Iran)!!
Totally agree. The only problem would be it would slow the game down even more. There would be no incentive for any stoppage to be minimised,; e.g. taking goal kicks. It is funny how keepers on the losing side are much quicker with goal kicks.
