    genuinely can't imagine why any club would seriously want him now, other than for shirt sales. what an awful way to end such an incredible career.

    that said, he'll probably go and win the World Cup now :)

    Really hope he throws a hissy in one of Portugals games or gets sent off and causes them to lose in the group stages. Just a conceited, selfish, immature brat who can't handle the fact he's well past his best.

    Yerbut ....if Argentina don't make it to the knock out stage Messi will be going cheap and he may want to stay out of Argentina given what seems to happento players in S.America when their teams fail to win the WC.

    We might pick him up at a bargain price so he can lay low in the wilderness of the EFL league One until the fuss dies down. Sure someone at the club could fix him up with a new ID and a gaff in Grimey.:D
