Well, it’s known that tackling this problem at the bottom only has a limiting effect. It needs a concerted govt action to attack it at the top where results can really make a difference
Surely the youth of Russia know about their appalling 20th century history where Bolsheviks gleefully murdered their Royal family and “Uncle Joe” Stalin callously exterminated great swathes of the population by starvation or brutal executions. Surely they read this stuff and can see what a maniac Putin is?
We're talking about generations of millions of people, brainwashed by state media from birth. They believe what they do, because that's the only thing they've ever been told. They have no access to other sources of information. How do you infiltrate that at scale? North Korea another obvious example. An entire population literally shielded from the outside world. They don't believe what they do because they're scared, or evil. They believe it because that's all they've ever been told. It's just assumed truth. Can't really blame the people for that.
So how do explain the decisions the English voting public keep taking - even though they are not shielded from the outside world and have access to lots of 'sources' of information?
The royal family didn't give a stuff about the ordinary people's suffering. Why do you think the revolution happened in the first place?
As shocking as that statistic is , those 27000 are not being organised & schooled by the state in our country .
I'm not lecturing and I'm certainly not defending Stalin. Just pointing out that life was hardly a bed of roses for the majority of the population under the Tsars either.
I never said it was a bed of roses but I hope you're not suggesting it was ok to shoot the whole family at point blank range and bayonet the cowering children who had moved away from the bullets, just to make sure that everyone of them was dead. I've got nothing else to say on this by the way - there is a match kicking of in 15 minutes and I'm concentrating on that
