Only just realised the Ponty and West are closed, and looking on the booking site the east stand doesn’t exactly look full. Barely anyone there by the looks - me and the boy are going, not in our usual east upper seats but down in the lower for a change.
I have just parked up the road near the Kia dealers. Even with only a 10k crowd, you have to be here for 12.45pm to get a spot. There is no one here - park where you want. There won't be 5k here today. I chose a spot on the back row in the middle of ESL, at 5pm yesterday. Was amazed that there were plenty to choose from.
If I lived in or near the town I would definitely go. As it is a 100 miles round trip on a cold day is out today. I might subscribe to iFollow audio but will decide later. By the way Newsbot’s post about that still says kickoff 2pm. Deary me!!
I'm afraid I'm not, got other stuff to do and as we're not putting out our best results I'll save some money.
If we were playing vast expansive football I might have considered it. However if we get through & bag a big team at home in the next round I’ll be there! Can barely muster up the effort to go to regular home games these days. Hoping for a bit of ambition to be shown in January, but we all know that’s not going to happen.
For me it’s over 400 miles round trip. If I still lived in Wombwell I’d probably go but Farnham’s too far to watch us play Crewe
No. Still laid low by the virus that prevented me from seeing the MK Dons game. Shame cos I really like FA Cup games.
FA Cup day. Used to be magic. No bugger here today, only one of three home stands open and it’s at least half empty. Nobody cares anymore. Win today and draw City in the next round I bet they’ll all come out of the woodwork though. Not that I blame anyone, it’s nearly Christmas and times are hard.
It's 100 miles each way for me. Nevertheless, I was considering going until I found out that I'd have to sit in the East Stand. Not that I'm against it and I've previously had STs in there, I just think there'll be no atmosphere with two sides of the ground closed. I fully understand the benefit in terms of reduced costs, just don't want to drive so far and not enjoy it.
Christmas shopping in Lincoln, in between some World Cup games. FA Cup games just make me sad these days, remembering what it used to be, and what it has now become.
Trying to get it on over ere in Fuerta, but no look so far, might av to wait for kick off, if there's a stream he say's he can minutes to go, YooooooooReeeeeeds, Ohhhh yes were in, si thi gor a game of footy to watch,
