Just in case you cannot keep up as there is something every day to Christmas. More talks have happened today and will in to the weekend about the train strikes. It actually sounds positive for a change that a conclusion might come from talks.

If the cost of living crisis gets much worse, wages don't go up, and we get much more austerity, I can sniff a general strike in the air. Not fun for anyone involved, but might be necessary.

Not sure what Rail will gain by striking on 25/26th except a few extra days off.

I’ve decided as a business owner I’m going on strike until my customers agree to a 19% increase in my installation costs . I wonder how that will go !

Do what you want, but as a business owner, don’t pocket a fortune while expecting your staff to take a real terms pay cut

Isn’t it engineers that are on strike over Christmas? So the real disruption will be felt further down the line when those engineering works are rearranged

Stop giving Tax payers money away to foreign aid and give it back to the tax payer, so they can be deducted more tax from their pay.

The government or the unions? - We know the Tory party and various politicians received Russian money over the last decade...

If Putin wanted to destabilise the country by buying politicians he certainly got value for his money.
