Just said the same. They are banging on as if he scored a worldie. Was also the same last night with Ronaldo. Lost count of the times the commentator mentioned breaking Eusabio’s record.
He is, but he does have 10 team mates. The attention distribution is ridiculous and hugely disrespectful.
I think all these Galactico's have been poor thus far. Really over hyped. He (Messi) didn't look to catch it right. Poor keeping for me.
You’ve took words out of my mouth mate......and why is every goal pure brilliance!!!....decent goal but do we question goalie there?......ffs sake it’s embarrassing how they claim everything he does his superb......been a great player no doubt but come on.... his best days have passed
I'm more concerned about Rio Ferdinand's visual impairment. He said it was well placed in the corner. I hope he finds a decent optician.
Always the same the British media, terrible when Ronaldinho was about as well. A simple back heel and they were creaming, an English player did one and it wasn't worth the mention. Surprised how much Rio's up Messi's arse.
They won't win the world cup because they are ****, miles behind France. If we beat Senegal and France then we've nothing to fear, Brazil are overrated as well.
I don’t think there is a good side in it,talkin France compare this side to the one with Platini and giresse in not in the same league.
If you thought that the ‘USA,USA,USA chant this afternoon was annoying, it was nothing compared to the Argies continuous whining and whaling.
I absolutely love watching Messi play, his movement off the the ball is unbelievable…and I love him more because it really must p**s Ronaldo off,
I think he's the best all round footballer ever produced. But it's always the same with our media over here. They drag our lot down no end for years, and praise non-english players ridiculous amounts. Same with Ronaldo, Neymar etc etc. We can all see Messi's record speaks for itself, he doesn't need sun shining out of his arse when he makes a simple 2 yard pass. Will be a sad day when he retires though.
