Shouting loudest about what. You see it’s confusing because there are that many people all with serious issues because of the successive Tory Govts policies, it’s hard to know what categories they’re putting us in. Are we Woke, Commies, Benefit scroungers, Putin Lover’s, the enemy within. Perhaps a bit of everything eh. I don’t know, where’s our Dunkirk spirit eh?

NO, but it is a sensitive subject especially when trying to debate this with the Tory brainwashed/ selfish folk. Just trying to clarify where on the Tory ever-lengthening list where people might find themselves if they happen to disagree or stand up to their political bullying

It is, but you can’t keep making tory posts, liking tory posts, complaining about things that are direct result of tory policies (while blaming other people of course) then crying that people are mean to you because you voted tory.

If it walks like a duck…

Also why is striking socialist? They're leveraging a skillset and lack of availability of alternative supply of those skills to negotiate for a better price. Companies do it all the time, so why are you opposed to the working man doing it?

If you earn more, you earn more. You can also afford more.

Public services need to work for the country to function. Am sure bosses would like transport to function so people can get to work. Healthcare needs to function so people aren’t off sick or worse, dead.

This needs funding. If you expect everyone to contribute equally regardless of income and wealth, you just put more burden on the people that can’t afford it, which in turn puts more burden on public services and welfare.

At the moment we have a society where people at the top are raking it in, while people working for them need food banks and benefits. It’s broken.

Apart from any sense of societal responsibility, consider the diminishing marginal utility of income.

    This.

I’m fortunate enough in my early Fifties mainly due to 30 odd years off graft and endeavour(and luck) that I am in the higher bracket of tax.
I’ve done many years of crap jobs at low wages and begrudged every penny paid at that point, now I don’t mainly cos I can afford it now.
