Was that cold last night I went to bed fully clothed, anyone else had to do this or do I need to increase the tog level on my duvet
I had my shorts, t-shirt and socks on. However, I took my socks off when I decided to warm myself up a bit by having a tug.
Lol ,I said tog level not tug level ,think you need a lightweight duvet for tug level and a heavyweight for coldness
You’re just tough you are !! It’s just below freezing around here but snow could be likely on higher ground. Any snow around your way ?
We might need to go back to days when they had a little fireplace in bedroom ,put a few lumps of the black stuff on,remember my gran having one in her bedroom
Very light covering but I live not far from the water so it’s always that bit milder here. Heard a couple of inches of snow other end of Dundee. I can only assume the temp will be 0 or under. Winter sun out now
Here’s a good joke for the lady’s ,why is sex with a man for the first time like snowfall because you don’t know how many inches your going to get,or how long it will last
You can keep warm with 11 degrees. https://www.11degrees.com/mens/jack...0rVoAcvZcx1gXSkH70sHco3RF4cc7K_RoCbqIQAvD_BwE
Flipping heck if Canada had winter weather like we've got today they would still be shirtless in shorts and flip flops.
It's down to the thermal capacity of water. Your clothing traps air which warms up to your body temperature and insulates you. In water, it gets to your skin and starts to absorb heat without warming significantly (unless you wear a wet suit). This means that the water keeps sucking heat out of your body without providing you with any significant insulation. @Stephen Dawson If you went out in 11C naked with a slight breeze, you would soon be in trouble as the air wouldn't be trapped next to the skin and would be constantly replaced by new 11C air, hypothermia would follow soon....
