    Thought we played well in the 2nd half. Another day we would have won it. We've missed a Penalty and France's winner was lucky, the first goal shouldn't have stood.
    I won't rip England apart for that performance.

    I think for penalty decisions that VAR can’t just give it but have to refer it back to the ref. It’s only offsides they can just overturn

    Complete rubbish, sorry. If we had gone out with a whimper I'd have understood your point, but we played very well for large parts of that game, gave it everything and lost out to a missed penalty to the current world champions. No shame in that.

    2. The refereeing in this tournament was unnoticeable in the group stages and then its got increasingly worse the further in we've got. Argies match and today's, a farce.

    In that case though why does the ref stand in the middle of the pitch waiting to be called to the podium? If he knows he has to go to it anyway

    I think the stick for Southgate is way overdone, but it is actually mental that he didn't bring Trippier on to take that final free kick. Surely anyone else would have done that?

    Thought first half was pretty even, we were maybe a bit slow on the ball.

    Second half we were comfortably the better side.

    Ref’s performance was abysmal throughout.

    Gutted with the result.
