    It's not that i didn't want England to do well, but it doesn't feel like a legitimate world cup. I said that before it started..:rolleyes:

    No they didnt....fine margins. For me tonight was a "free hit" I didn't expect that performance. I would argue we were the better team.
    I think if that was the other way round the French would be moaning like good uns

    Right result for me. We’re not a top 4 team IMO. They did enough, scored twice in open play, took the lead twice. We relied on two pens. They deserved it. Fair play to em.

    I don't think England lost because of the referee (although it did not help) but to argue that England were negative and Fraance barely got out of 2nd gear is incorrect. Opinions are only of value if based facts and some evidence to support them. Where is yours? What woudl have been positive 2-0, 3-0, 4-0.....? We went out after a missed penalty in an evenly matched game.

    Their first should never have happened, clear foul on Saka.

    We also should have had another penalty.

    Also, since when do penalties make a goal less legitimate? If the fouls didn't happen, we'd likely have scored from open play, at least for the Kane one.

    Just worry about the back 4 Helen, don’t see any quality centre halves coming through.
    Maguire, Stones & Shaw could still be here but a big ask for a defence with that average age.
