I wonder how deep the Wednesday fans pockets are being that with high inflation & energy costs plus xmax on top the Wednesday top brass have decided now is the time to put on next seasons early bird season tickets on sale , I could imagine the shouts of joy the Oakwell faithful would make if our club did the same , thankfully we operate a bit differently .
As bad as ours are I would not want Chansiri & to be honest the post was about them selling season tickets what are far more expensive than ours pre xmas ,when times are hard , it was not about our owners who has bad as they are would not risk trying to pulling this stunt .
That’s a fair point . However , the difference between chansiri and chien is that chien could not get his mits on the ground and surrounding land . I’m glad that was the case
They spent a fortune in the summer window and have a squad that ought to walk out of L1. Crazy that they’re looking to spend more. Be all the more amusing if it all ends in tears again come May….
Chansiri I know what. I'll introduce early bird prices in the middle of winter. Those that can afford it get em cheaper. Those that can't, Struggling with energy bills, can pay later when they are dearer. Wtf. A man that doesn't give a toss to fans plight on affordability trying to cope. Even with 9 months 0% interest free payments. It's a joke. I would love to know if any other clubs have introduced early bird prices so early.
So early that most of the birds are still in the Arctic and haven't even thought about migrating here. He thinks he can attract the odd robin, blackbird or tit.
Plus Chien did not own a taxi company that did not exist & of course Chansiri is the sole owner & thus dictates everything ,thankfully despite our syndicate owners making a pigs ear of most things sanity appears to have returned somewhat but back to the point of my op , surely asking fans to stump up for next season in mid december is taking the P , yet the consequence of not buying now is a higher price in the new year which continues to rise the later you leave it .
Surely most of them dear little piggies have bought the super duper lifelong ticket that guarantees them free tickets the 1st season they are back in the premiership. A bargain
