I assume the pitch is fine because of the undersoil heating. I did wonder if there might be a question of spectator safety if it was icy around the ground (pavement, car park etc)? Has anyone been at the club the last 24 hours and do they think we’ll be good to go?
Unlike Oxford I’d hope the club would have given an indication last night. Bearing in mind too that no trains so many will be making specials efforts to get to the game. common sense tells you could be a little slippy around town. Shouldn’t need to be told that.
I’m not talking about around town. I mean in and around the ground. If it’s icy everywhere they will call it off on safety grounds.
Met Office website is showing rain at dinner time and three degrees all afternoon (not as pre match entertainment). No chance it will be off.
Just driven down Pontefract Rd preparations seem to be in full swing early starters parked up Pontefract Rd swamped with no parking cones so I imagine barring catastrophic change in weather game goes ahead
