    Stewards kicking the **** out of the dad of the kid who ran onto the pitch according to a bloke on the walk back to the car

    I was next to it all, kid that ran on pitch was handled by stewards like he was a hooligan, he was only 10 apparently,adults got involved and thats when it all kicked off, I had to leave ground via ponty end gate

    Absolutely don't run on the pitch, but equally you can't pretend that being heavy handed with a kid is a proportionate response.

    They escorted rather than manhandled him off the pitch. The problems seemed to be when the adults got involved!

    Hmm, that's not how I saw it. He was leading him away, but wasn't 'handling' him. Then there were about 3 blokes stood at the top of the stairs blocking the way.

    Kid went on pitch so got removed from the ground. Cannot risk getting in more trouble so stewards have to be seen doing what they are paid to.

    After what happened in Australia any pitch incursion however minor wil be jumped on by the FA and we know how much they like to fine us. Both the kid and his father should be told by the club that any repeat will lead to a stadium ban. Rather than trying to defend his kid the father should have been giving him a right rollicking for being a little prat running on the pitch.

    I'm wrong then, I'm just going on what was said by one of supporters next to me, to be fair to the stewards they did take the kid to bottom of stairs whilst adults were been dealt with

    Video on twitter of about 20 Fleetwood fans been abit aggressive towards stewards in the coach park after game. Nothing much in it tbh though.
