Hats off to him - looked unfit when he joined but he's knuckled down - worked on his fitness and it seems to be paying off. Great finish today as well!

If we can sign someone I don't think he'll be an automatic starter but good to have a round.

I like him. Think he works hard and has something.

Cole missed a couple of 'sitters' today, I reckon had it been Norwood in those positions, he'd have scored both. I know he had a decent effort saved, but it was at an angle. He looks a completely different player than the one we had at start, seems to work harder too.. Albeit that couldve been just down to his fitness

Norwood my motm for me but we are screaming out for more attacking options in the squad it’s a minor miracle by Duff that we sit in 4th place considering what’s available especially off the bench.

When we attacked and Cole could have squared it to Norwood but Cole was too greedy, would have been 2.0

I think on the whole coles been good this season and our top scorer still getting hammered on social media..

If your a professional at any sport keep yourself in shape.

People talk about experience norwoods had one season at league one level with Ipswich rest at league 2.

    Personally I like Norwood.

He's deceptively quick, he's strong, chases down and hungry. Given a chance or 2 he can hit that onion bag.

We look miles off up front without him, and he also is a critic of himself.

    What's not to like?

Experience isn't just about league played in - he has been a professional for a number of years and that experience is good for the younger players. Last player we had in our squad with 150 league goals to their name ... can't remember one

What was it Aitchison said - he's teaching the younger ones the dark arts. Great example today when he chased down the ball near the touchline and gave the defender a shoulder barge after the ball had gone.

To be fair he was without a club and probably not training as intensely as the others in the squad - fair play to him he's worked hard

Don’t think he played very well tonight but his finish was excellent. I don’t think his all round game is that great but he’s a top finisher & he’s very streetwise. He knows how to win fouls very well too.

Hard to say he played well tonight. He must’ve gave the ball away 5 times through bad lay offs in the first half & then there was the shocking floated cross he tried to play to Cole when they were both in great positions.

Gives his all, a lot fitter than he was in August & a cracking finisher but for a side challenging for promotion from league one he ought to be back up at best in my opinion.

As for Cole. He’s scored a few but I’m not convinced. I feel like we have a top end league one keeper, defence & midfield with a league two strike force.

I still feel like he plays like I do if I play 5 a side a night or two before a holiday in not wanting to risk injury. Doesn’t want to tackle or compete physically enough to be a top player in my opinion.

Brad collins and cole have played over 150 league games, cauley had last season, mowatt before him. I think we have always had at least one but if your not over 30 your not "experienced" in some fans eyes.

My man of the match today. Put himself everywhere, held the ball up well, took his goal brilliantly. Looks a decent player now.

I did say goals not appearances - who was last one we had with a 150 goals in our squad? As for appearances he has over 400

Jason Scotland? Marlon Harewood? Was on about experience most of his goals and appearances have come in league 2. I hope he scores plenty but I'm with django rest of our squad is great but we have a league 2 strike force. Was a great finish from him today though

They did 12 -13 years ago and their experience helped us stay up - his experience will hopefully help us go up.

He has over 400 games and 150 goals and I said he has experience - think that pretty much says experienced as a footballer

    *Scotland didn't have 150

I dont think we should blame Cole for being 'greedy', even though in general I dont think he is, because how often have we complained on here about nobody taking any risks or always looking to pass instead of shoot? Many times. I definitely think Norwood is having much more of an impact in games now

Norwood has certainly upped his game in the last couple of weeks, a real nuisance.

I criticised Norwood on here a few weeks back, saying we ought to offload him in January if we get a couple of strikers in. Glad to say he’s upped his game recently and that was a quality finish last night.
    Credit where it’s due….

He played for 3 seasons at Ipswich. All at L1 level do not sure where you got that from. 77 appearances (24 as sub) 26 goals so maintaining the average of 1/3 that he had got at other clubs.
