Has come on leaps and bounds in the last year. A player who wears his heart on his sleeve and gives his all
Until we have crowds excess of 18000 plus every week we'll always be a development and selling club so i see this as good business sense so for the medium term we know we'll receive a fee. Next up Mads please. The club knows were we need to recruit so lets all step back and let it get the job done. Come the end of the window will determine criticism or praise. I'm prepared to be patient
I wasn't having a dig at the club, I was giving it more as just a statement of fact, a sad fact of life of being a skint L1 club as you say. If anything, not a criticism of the board, but recognising good business sense in speculating on their asset's value.
Great news ...... he can be hot headed but hopefully more games he plays the more disciplined he will become......reminds me now and again of a young Gerry Taggert with his 100% commitment and forward runs
Positive news another half a season atleast at the side of Mads to learn a bit of composure and I think he can make a championship centre half and he's left sided which good uns are pretty rare.
Mad as a box of frogs inside a bag of bats. Sometimes he looks like the most accomplished centre half we've ever had playing for us as he effortlessly dribbles the ball out of defence, glides past two opposition players and pings it 50 yards with the accuracy of a laser guided missile. He does some things that are genuinely breath taking. At other times I wouldn't pick him for Kexbrough Chiefs under 11s. But the good is starting to outweigh the bad. Offering such a long contract is a fantastic move imho. He's a player who cares, who is trying to get better and has bucket loads of raw talent even if it is very raw at times. And now we've got the opportunity to develop him.
Great news. Always looks like he ‘has one in him’, but potential is there, and we all know what Andersen was like during his first season.
Or until we get owners capable of building a business than doesn't rely on weakening it to pay bills and make it more successful.
