I’ve been I’ll throughout December , got flu the last week of November lasted until last week . Now I have novovirus ffs! since I’ve turned 50 I’m falling apart

I'm only 40 and had a cold/flu/whatever last month that lasted about two weeks. Never known anything like that last that long. Had COVID (third time) in late November as well, so for a good few week I felt as rough as a badger's a***. I don't even bother with doctors. More chance of getting an appointment with Sunak. Loads of ***** doing the rounds of late. Doubt previous years lockdowns have helped in regards immune systems. I felt **** for a few week beginning of December Hopefully you get better soon.
I missed the MK Dons home game on 19 November because I'd started with a bad cough/cold. I haven't been to a match since. I've really struggled to shake it off and felt terrible most of the time. My wife has been just as bad. Thankfully I'm on the mend now, but I won't be there tomorrow due to other commitments (if we'd played today, I would have gone!) By the time I get back into Oakwell, I'll have been absent for almost 3 months! Get well soon to anyone under the weather at the moment.
get well soon Mick. I’m in the same boat. I rarely get ill, proper frustrated, I just can’t shake this off. As OP says, I understand it’s due to the lockdowns / poorer immune systems as a result
