On having, on average, more than two mass shootings per day for 2022. That's a world first by the way. Previously no country had ever recorded two mass shootings per day in a calendar year in the history of firearms. Land of the free indeed
In addition, the number of deaths by firearms in the US for 2022 is 40,000+. More than half are suicide. And a small % mass killings. (Rather than mass shootings) I can't ever see a situation where the right to bear arms is made illegal. Most folk carry one for supposed protection.(not sure if that works against em. Evidence says you are more likely to get shot if you own one.) Ownership Republicans 50% Democrats 18% They really are a ****** up country in that respect on the whole.
I will never understand a country that cares more about having weapons than kids being murdered with them in schools
And yet when they jointly host the world cup in 4 years time, Gary Neville and other pundits will be creaming their pants over that country...
To be honest the US tends to get all the criticism it deserves. Trump, gun laws, racism, anti Abortion etc etc are treated with contempt the world over unless you're of the hard right f**k everyone else I'm OK persuasion. There are a lot of countries around the world with serious, serious problems. America is definitely one and there are very few serious apologists for them. We all know they have the next world Cup for the same reasons as Russia and Qatar. Money and corruption work.
