We've got the right manager, but, the club are nowhere near promotion quality, I'm happy for a decent finish this season and let Duff build nice and steadily to having squad to really have a push at promotion with a team/squad to not only go up but be equipped to have a decent crack at the Championship.
We must not panic and let this very good manager steer us in a pragmatic manner.

Other things from today. We need to get someone in that can take the field instead of using Jalo. I’m sure the kid is a great talent but at that the moment I’m not sure how we are developing his game and he’s not upto the required standard to be playing first team football. I think he will be but he looks every bit the 17 year old when he comes on.

Starting to think refs are conspiring against us now too. Weirdly seems to be too frequent that we appear to be on the wrong end of many decisions in too many different games!

Been saying same about Jalo for weeks. He may have real potential but he’s barely out of school. He’s physically still a kid. It’s ridiculous that he’s anywhere near the first team. That bench today was embarrassing. Duff needs 2 or 3 players in ASAP.

 

I think we need to give Jalo more minutes . He's only slight but if you watch him he gets in good positions and doesn't let himself get shoved around. It's going to take time for him to gel in the first team.

 

That time should be elsewhere not here at the moment. He doesn’t impact games.

thank goodness the half time team talk wasn't from people on here. Thank goodness those same people won't be trying to lift chins up for the next games.
We have a good manager and a developing group of young players and a strong squad for this division. With a couple of January additions we can do the play offs at least.
3 terrible refs last 3 games doesn't make things easier either.
I thought we could have won that game had the **** show of the second goal not happened.
The lads kept fighting.
Time to move on.

He's been disappointing I think. he's clearly still a work in progress but I certainly expected a bit more energy from him v what we have seen so far.

agree re Plymouth but I do think the massive and Ipswich are catchpole particularly as they're both yet to visit oakwell.
