It's because we were playing Bolton. Certain teams, for reasons known only to our players over the years, can just rock up and are guaranteed to get a result. Swansea and Reading are another two, Ipswich as well recently. Sky Sports were saying Charlton have won their last 7 at Fratton Park, yet we haven't won there in my lifetime. It's beyond luck, but I don't know what it is.
I get that the mistakes cost us the game and with ten men it was always an up hill battle . However I thought at times we tried and without the quality we did ok going forward . However defensively today we were clueless , we usually have someone to pull us through in other games but today we were terrible . Imo Bolton weren t good enough to punish us as much as they could have with their attacks breaking down easily . However I was incensed with the third goal even though the game was lost , If Wendy had been olehing whilst our defenders let them and scored I’d guess this board would be in meltdown. The other two goals were mistakes and indecisions the third was a criminal act imo .

Too many of our players having a off day for me. Midfield shocking Williams ball watching and was awful. Forwards posed no threat. Subs that was available was never gonna make a impact, sorry but Jalo not ready and never gonna make any difference, he needs a loan away for me . Reinforcements needed for duff and hopefully soon, not waiting till the last minute.
One point that i feel we need to take on board. We play it out from the back and have been caught out before, so why after being a man down due to the sending off do we continue the same tactic. Suicidal at times and sure enough that's exactly what happened with the second goal.
