I've just asked it to write my groom's speech, telling it the name of my bride to be etc... I could quite easily use it, its frightening.
It's very good tech and very interesting. Very prone to errors though at the minute and unfortunately very confident when it provides incorrect information and (smartly) it won't learn from what one person tells it and use it for other peoples conversations, so it's a bit limited. Very interested to see how it goes in the future though. Despite all these issues I've used it multiple times at work already to assist with programming queries.
I've found that it can become quite repetitive. For example, I asked it to write a story about Harry Potter discovering Ice Hockey, and Jar Jar Binks becoming a Premier League footballer, and both stories ended up pretty much the same (they never forgot their roots and became role models etc). Good fun though.
I like chatGPT but have you tried DALL-E the program which creates images and artwork now that is an impressive bit of AI right there. Had it do some horror images and they are very creepy I also had it show me Ariel images of barnsley in the 1800s and hundreds of years in the future and the pictures look so real
The only issue I have with the image ones is that they're trained off art made by often independent artists without their permission. It's a weird moral grey area for me as it is basically stealing their art and reproducing new art with it.
Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to be dangerous if it is not developed and used responsibly. There are several ways in which AI could be dangerous, including: Autonomous weapons: AI-powered weapons, such as drones or military robots, could be used to attack targets without human intervention. This could lead to unintended consequences and loss of life, and it raises ethical concerns about accountability and responsibility. Bias in algorithms: AI algorithms are only as unbiased as the data they are trained on. If the data is biased, the AI system will also be biased. This could lead to unfair treatment of certain groups of people, such as racial or gender discrimination. Job displacement: As AI becomes more sophisticated, it may be able to perform tasks that were previously done by humans. This could lead to widespread job displacement, which could have negative economic consequences. Security risks: AI systems are vulnerable to hacking and other security threats. If an AI system is hacked, it could be used to cause harm or disrupt critical infrastructure. Misuse: AI could be used for malicious purposes, such as creating fake news or spreading misinformation. It could also be used to enable crimes, such as identity theft or financial fraud. Overall, it is important to carefully consider the potential risks and consequences of AI development and use, and to take steps to ensure that it is used ethically and responsibly.
Imagine... A few hundred bots plugged in and let loose, nothing but messaging each other That could end up a cracking conversation whilst we bugger off to the boozer lol
I'd consider 1, 2 and 5 to be human issues rather than AI issues. Eg. that's a problem of humans potentially relying on AI too much rather than a problem with AI as a concept. 3 I consider to be a positive outcome. As a species imo we should be working towards nobody having to work, unless they want to. UBI. I think it's achievable within my lifetime. 4 is an issue, however that's an issue with computer systems in general rather than an issue with AI. And it's an issue that's possible to safeguard against to some degree.
ChatGPT just passed an MBA exam Concerns mount as ChatGPT passes MBA exam given by Wharton professor | The Independent
"Professor Christian Terwiesch, who authored the study, noted that educators should be concerned that their students might be cheating on homework assignments and final exams using such AI chatbots." Wonder how quickly word will get around now
It’s currently on the fence about our chances of promotion. As an AI language model, I do not have personal opinions or emotions, so I cannot predict the future with certainty. However, I can provide you with some information and analysis that may help you make an informed decision. Barnsley FC has had a strong season so far in EFL League One, and they are currently in a good position to compete for promotion to the Championship. They have a talented squad of players and a dedicated coaching staff, and they have shown consistent form throughout the season. However, the outcome of any football match or season can be influenced by many factors, including injuries, changes in form, and the performance of other teams in the league. Therefore, it's difficult to make a definitive prediction about whether or not Barnsley will get promoted this season. Ultimately, the best way to assess the team's chances would be to closely follow their remaining fixtures, analyze their performance against other teams in the league, and take into account any other factors that may affect their chances of promotion. I've played with it for the first time about half an hour ago and it was a lot more none committal about sport than your answer.
