Its annoying Id have liked to go to that one but Exeter on an Weeknight is too far even from Farnham and I dont want to take time off work and book a hotel. Ill probably miss the piggies at home as well - Sunday lunchtime doesnt work and it will probably be a midweek match in any case

27 quid for a 450 mile round trip on a Tuesday is ridiculous

Respect to all that do that. For most you're talking two days off work to spend a minimum of £61 before you've bought food n drink, maybe a programme and home between 3-4 am.

With railcard and split ticket we got train and hotel for £93 each. Plus £20 standing. Two days and expenses. But it’ll be ground 115 seeing only Barnsley play. New grounds is my only vice.

It was one I was really looking forward to until the rearrangement. Even if it had been a different Tuesday I could have gone but it so happens that it now falls on my 50th birthday and although I suspect the missus and young un have something planned for the day, I’m quite certain that it’s not a day out in Devon!

I enjoyed it tbh. Took me right back to the 70's and 80's.
If you're wrapped up the weather's not a problem.

I've got my train and hotel booked. A new ground for me, or I don't think I'd have bothered.

EDIT: Just hoping a rail strike isn't called for this and Oxford.
