    My thoughts as the whistle went were for all those delirious Owls tonight who are already checking hotel bookings in Milan, Munich and Paris for 2025 onwards.

    you know it! Although Someone made a very good point on here the other day (apologies I can’t remember who and I can’t be bothered to try and find it!). Local derbies should be really be the midweek games anyway to reduce travelling time after work etc.

    I worked amongst them for 40 years, thankfully I don’t any longer. It still doesn’t dull my detesting of them.
