And some still think he's the better keeper.

Always dread to see his name on the team sheet. They said he made a good save to try to retrieve the situation but the Derby player followed up to score. Heads gone down now, by the sound of it.

I’ve never rated Jack. He is what he is a back up keeper in L1

Unlike Brad who never has. he royally fecked up but let's not presume brad doesn't on occasion. Neither would command a championship place in my view. And if by a stroke of luck we managed to go up we would need a new No.1.

I think he knows what his level is (league one top half back up) or he would have been looking for a move. He didn't boost his chances of starting in the league with that performance.

collins showed last season behind our weakest ever championship team that he is a decent Championship keeper.

Are you the one who preferred Walton to Collins the other day on the thread? I reckon you're probably 1 of 7 people who doesn't think Collins is championship quality bud. Hes one of very few in actual FACT ;)

I was also one of the minority from last week but that's fine it's an opinion that's all, is Collins's a far better keeper than Walton not for me and to try to use today to back that up is unfair for me. Matty Wolfe jumps with his hands above his head for the pen and also gives the ball away for the second Walton played a poor pass for the third but then makes a decent save and we get a chance to clear which we don't take.

It doesn't alter the fact I have my opinion. You both may not like it. But I also don't need anyone to back me up.
I seem to remember lots were drooling over such as Dennis Souza (became a fans favourite.) one of the worst centre halves I've ever seen pull on a Barnsley Shirt. It is all about opinions I don't require anyone else to back me up. I may only be 1 in 7. Doesn't mean I'm 100% wrong. Time will tell.

Can I make it clear I definitely wasn't backing Hooky feller up not backing him up and feel that way I'm sorr
I assume the backing up was aimed at me sorry if I have caused offence but I can assure you I had no intention of backing you up just two people who share a similar opinion on a subject have a good evening.

Mate please forgive me if you thought that. It certainly wasn't meant that way and in no way aimed at yourself or anyone else who have independent opinions.
. It's the constant making out they are right cos it seems everyone else thinks same as them. Eg the 1 of 7 comment to back em up. I have my own opinions as have you. And even when in the minority it doesn't automatically make us wrong.
If I can give an example. As a union rep I got lambasted for having a different opinion to other reps for fear of rocking the boat shall we say.
To a man they now agree with that self same opinion. And are better for it.

Agreed. He showed it in the previous season too, when he almost became a Premier League keeper.

One thing about Collins is I always thought his biggest strength was how well he played the sweeper keeper role and how that gave him the edge with an high line despite his poorer shot stopping skills but this season he's been absolutely glued to his line and even if the ball goes into the box he stays rooted to the line, seemingly unwilling to step forwards.

He's also gone backwards with his distribution and decision making too imo. Is that down to him or down to employing a new, young, inexperienced goalkeeper coach this season?

And Walton? who played more league games that same season with a weaker forward line and kept us in the chase with the leading pack ?
do you honestly think premier league quality for either ?
I honestly don't think eithers all round game is championship standard if we manage to get back there.
And would look for a new No.1.
