    Hindsight isn't it, if I'd known we would be as lightweight upfront as we are now then I would 100% agree.

    Has to go down as a serious fail in the recruitment department, the league position and performances shouldn't cloud judgement, I put that down to duff and the coaching team. The striking options available from the start of the season was abysmal.

    I very much doubt Duff had much at all to do with initial recruitment or holding on to vic though surely?

    I agree, I mean the good league position and performances overall have been down to duff etc not the recruitment. The recruitment for a striker was a failure and can't be ignored just because we have overachieved in the first half of the season.

    My apologies mate, just the way I read it at haste. I completely agree with you on that. Would have been a lot better had we got Watters/different striker at start of season and then added in Jan instead of being bare bones for half the season up top

    He turned a contract down that was offered here in 4 seasons he started 9 games he obviously wanted more starts and regular game time.
