I'd say a million is way over the mark and no way will Peterborough or Rotherham be paying anywhere near that figure.Wigan may if they're desperate but not sure what their financial standing is like these days.
A million is a lot for a player based only on a good half season, off the back of a number of goal shy years. More than we paid for Kieffer Moore and Carlton Morris for example.
Rotherham have never paid more than half a million in their history, so it would be somewhat surprising.
Really unlucky with us, if he'd just notched a few more in the championship no doubt he would still be here. Some players just thrive at different clubs, our strikers seem to have suffered last couple of years
I just hope that whoever buys him plays him either out of position or in a team that gives him no service, then they’ll see how crappy he is. Oh,,,, hang on……..
Two clubs I've not got a lot of time for. Hope it's Millwall where he can do us less damage. Or if he replicates his form for us maybe Bolton would be better......
Doubt he will get 9 starts in 4 seasons there though.. if he goes bolton I could see him doing better he's scored nearly 1 in 2 at a club at the bottom end of the league who will struggle to stay up
If he has a goal record of 1 in 10 for them, he won’t last 4 years. Not sure why we kept him for so long after so many mangers didn’t fancy him. It will be interesting to see if he goes anywhere though and what he’ll be like.
Hard to score when your given a cameo run out every so often sometimes not even in the team and 9 starts in 4 years says it all. Good luck to him for me always gave 100% when called upon.
