Think we may lose a few points until we get settled again.

 

BBC reported that 9,000 Charlton fans were at Old Trafford last night. That’s some following for a midweek trip from South London.

Looks like Charlton will have at least two new signings in their squad on Saturday, with experienced Championship defender Todd Kane and former QPR striker Macaulay Bonne having completed medicals today.

Unless Duff can work another miracle I find it hard to see us getting anything and think we might go down 2-0 sadly.

 

We seem to be in a bit of a rut. I reckon 2-0 loss.

 

Andersen will be back and determined (and Collins) so a clean sheet in the offing - penalties excepted - so a sneaky win for the Tykes, 1-0.

 

It's funny how this thread gets loads of early replies when people think we're going to lose. But if we're well fancied to win, nobody really dips in any earlier than Friday evening

 

To buck a trend, I think we’ll sneak this one. 1:2 back to the wall defending and shockingly we won’t give away a penalty.

 

I suspect a draw. 0:0. Think we'll tighten up at the back but lack much of an attacking threat.

 

2-0 to Charlton with McAuley Bonne scoring on his return to the club, another blank for us I’m afraid. Just don’t feel positive about us at the moment

 

Looking at some of the comments on here, you'd think that we'd just lost four on the spin, rather than having lost a grand total of ONE league match since before the the clocks went back, most of which were wins. I wouldn't mind betting that most clubs in the country would be delighted to be stuck in the kind of "rut" we are apparently in.

(Having said that, I'd be delighted with a point today!)

In my case, It’s always based on gut feelings and for the most part of this season so far they’ve been positive. We have just had 2 poor results conceding 6 and not scoring. The defending, which had previously been fairly good has gone from that to being abysmal. I believe our coach will sort this but it may take a couple more games yet. So not really doom and gloom from me, just going through poor form.
