not done too many away days this season but jeez we have some absolute total **** ends amongst us, saw few getting ejected even before kick off!
now i get that some prefer to stand the whole time regardless of action but some of ours are pricks, 1 big bloke stood up a full 30mins ish, little bairn a few seats back and the ********* was watching his mobile more than the game before leaving to go to the bar, i didn't even know they had a scoreboard til he left!
but he was quite harmless compared to the total c u n t that was asked politely to sit by a steward but chose to move to the back away from his mate who did sit down! why?
the cu nt then chose to heckle anyone sat down that they were all prawn sandwich eaters, until a bloke stood up and started grappling with him, a total embarrassment (but hope the bloke got a decent jab in)
i like a pint or 3 but jeez, its between 2-45 & 3-35 and you're hammered and spoiling the day for others!

roll on the cricket season i say

Not condoning behaviour of a few of our fans at away games (there are some idiots) but if you watch football in general it seems to me that 95% of away fans stand at games, even the home ones do behind the goals at most Premiership grounds. It just seems a given. For some reason it’s a massive cause of argument amongst our following.

You would have hoped that given it was down in London, some of our morons wouldn't have enough pocket money to make it and you'd have been safe thinking that it would be one the more moron free days. I suppose they are still burning through their Christmas money though.

i get that and my way of thinking is to sit the bloke in front seated too,if he stands up i will, i am able bodied, i don't mind, but to simply stand up, nothing happening whilst checking on your bet with a little kid behind missing the game is just baffling
what folk don't get is that some cannot stand up for 90+ mins in a seated area, then you get pricks heckling prawn butties! can't get my breath

I wasn't far away from the prawn sandwich two-hat incident. I'm not one to condone violence but fair play to the bloke who ran up the stairs and smacked that idiot, he so deserved it and at least it shut him up.

It's quite simple the rule is you sit down. I loved standing in the ponte when you could but now you can't so out of courtesy to those behind me I sit down so they aren't forced to stand up to see. It's simply a matter of not being selfish and thinking of others by having a bit of consideration and following the rules and not being a selfish *****. Sadly many of our fans and other clubs fans can't follow rules and are selfish pricks.

If everyone sits down, everyone can see.
I get it that at times of excitement people might get off their seats but to continually stand up is just selfish because there are people who can’t do that.

We do seem different to most away fans in that many of our fans prefer to sit. I remember Leeds fans chanting at us in the cup match earlier this season about us sitting down in a piss- taking way? I prefer to sit down not least of all because I find having the back of a seat shoving my knee caps upwards rather uncomfortable. It’s all about respect really, but it doesn’t help when you get in the ground and stewards tell you to sit where you want and clearly don’t care Wether you stand or sit

I used to love an away day. On the train with my friends. Spot of lunch, Prosecco, bit of chat. Unfortunately that has been taken over by the all day drinkers. Start at the earliest opportunity, no consideration for anyone else, leave the empties all over the place.
What was once a pleasant day out is just not a good experience. I like a few drinks, but the behaviour on trains now means I just don’t enjoy away days like I used to. So I don’t go.

Whatever the rights or wrongs of sitting or standing you can’t deny what I’ve said is right. Away fans of nearly every club choose to stand at away games and I do think it generates a better atmosphere. I get what you say but I’m just pointing out facts.

You also said “for some reason” referencing that fans might be in dispute.
I’m pointing out that standing up, home or away is still selfish.

I managed half of your post without a sit down wee. I'll finish off in the morning during my dump. It might be more exciting Victor.

When you buy away tickets online you cannot choose where you sit. If you could they could let it be known that if you want to stand buy for the back.
