Lovely words. Jean and James are a credit to the club and we don't hear from them often enough.

Can't agree with James about Ocean Drive though as Lighthouse Family did some bangers.

I rarely read a post on the BFC website & feel as emotional as this.

RIP Patrick. What you did for the club will never be forgotten by me.

It made me a bit emotional reading those two pieces, but you are right about the sincerity expressed and having two genuine fans on the board who want to honour Patrick's legacy. It must have been a challenging few years with the goings-on behind the scenes and the court case, especially without Patrick to lean on.
RIP, Patrick; you are missed by our fans too.

Absolute legend of the club for me. That piece from Jean was a bit of a hard read. No doubt there were mistakes, but above all else he was dyed in the wool and wanted the very best for Barnsley Football Club. I hope someday another Patrick Cryne will come along, but it feels unlikely in my lifetime.

Just read the tributes from Jean and James, very touching. I have nothing but love for the two of them, losing Patrick and trying their best to carry on in his footsteps, to honour him. I recently lost my dad to cancer so it hit a little hard for me, it's good to hear from them both and I wish them nothing but the best.
