    Technically the best player at the club. Lacks a bit of pace but his passing, positioning and vision are very good.

    Bolton fans were ridiculing him the other week, saying he’d not get in their midfield. Give over. Fantastic signing, seems to get better and better each week.

    I think it's a bit of a case of sour grapes from them. We signed him when I was on holiday in the summer, so as I had a bit of free time, I had a look on their forum of the opinions of him from when he was actually playing for them. They were raving about him, going on as though he was the next Pirlo. They had to sell him because of their money troubles, and out of nowhere it seems, they decided he has 'attitude problems', culminating in them booing him when we played them at their place. He'd have been lauded as the prodical son had he returned there this summer.

    Football fans are a fickle bunch. The first caller on praise or grumble last night said he'd have sacked Darren Moore in December, before going on to say he's by far the best manager in the league.

    We’ve had some cracking left footers in our midfield recently Hourihane, Mowatt and now Connell he looks like he could definitely play at championship level hopefully with us.

    He looks a very good player in the making to me. I'd like to see him here next season to help us have a real go at promotion then lead us in the Championship or bring in a very decent pot of money.
