Well done club. Lovely gesture is that. Maybe make it a bit more of a gathering if possible have a meet and greet at full time. Kids would love it if they could have a full time photo with their current heroes.
Cracking gesture is that. The players need a game and it gives something back to the fans and helps build a connection between supporters and the club. It's little things like this that make a difference imo
Great idea by the club. It gives Duff a proper look at some fringe players and a bit of hope to them as well.
I was going to post earlier expressing my disappointment with the clubs lack of acknowledgement of yesterday's debacle., glad I hung fire. Well done to the club and i hope the 300+are treated well and bill is sent to Exeter City.
They probably only travelled back this morning, it's less than 24 hours after the scheduled kick off time.
Fair do's I just felt they could have backed the trust statement quicker but I accept the other arrangements would take more time.
As a bit of background mate. The club got in touch immediately after our tweet and said they wanted to send a joint complaint to the EFL. We then worked with them throughout the day on aligning our statements/updates. Some of this done from the back of cars up the M5 or in between tube stops with dodgy WiFi and signal. Within 24 hours they've apologised, backed a complaint to the EFL, and come up with a nicely thought out gesture as some form of initial reward for those who were affected last night. I don't think that's bad within six hours of the working day and being out of the office/on the road. Especially with timezone challenges with our board/owners.
Anyone else having problems with the ticket site saying not available or is my interpretation of the tickets being available to the 'Exeter 331' from 5pm tonight to 5pm tomorrow wrong?
I had a little rant the other day, (not at our club) so I think it's only fair so day thanks and well done to all involved for this.
Thanks for info glad to here the support was offered quickly and I understand a knee jerk reaction was not what was called for and I'm more than happy to admit my initial opinion was wrong and club are due alot of credit.
