Not a bad transfer window, but would have liked at least one more in.

Yup agreed, the other plusses are we have not let go our good players and we have loaned out up and coming youngsters. This is a better stratagem. I believe we can get to the play offs . My big hope is that we keep Duff after this season no mat
    ter what the end outcome.

As you typed that before Russel was announced you did get at least one more in - is 7 enough for you?

    I'm whelmed.
Not over, not under ......... just whelmed.

I detect a smattering of desperation to prove we could get players in. Last day activity never lends itself to the idea that any were hardcore targets; they would have been in weeks ago.
I simply don't get the goalkeeping activity. Bizarre. All I can assume is that we have told Brad that we will listen to offers in the summer, and that one of the three others will be #1, one will be backup and one will go on a season loan to develop?

I am glad we have got bodies in - that is a plus. More than covered in midfield and we have seen some performances in that area. Probably more than covered up top too; I'd like to see Watters and Shaw put some pressure on Norwood and Cole and hope for a positive reaction. Cole had stick recently but lets not forget he had a good patch. At his age, and with his experience he should really be putting 'full season' performances in now. Defence is a worry for me, bit light on numbers and if injuries happen, as suspensions surely will, then we are more than a little fragile. Hence my frustration with the GK sitch ....... would have probably preferred a CB at this stage.

Anyway, onwards and upwards, all just my opinion and we are still well placed in the table. Hopefully it clicks and we are still around there come May.
    U Reds, etc ......

It's been good window Dave. The signing of 2 keepers seems a bit strange, unless it means Collins will go in the summer.

I'm just happy that we kept all our best players. I'm feeling optimistic about our chances for the rest of the season COYR!
