    You can only play 1 keeper. Why have the guy from Luton if we were making a permanent transfer. Baffling. Now we have 4 keepers. More than a World Cup squad.

    5 with Paul Cooper who tbh looked a better bet than Searle as a shot-stopper in the intra-squad game and saved a penalty for the U21s yesterday.

    I can only think. Duff quoted Jack wouldn't leave unless an adequate replacement as no.2 (or indeed no.1) was found. So the luton lad was signed. (Luton paying his wages) Hayton may have been looking at options that may come his way. But was a first choice for us. Also the window may have closed. but Non league can still sign players from leagues above. Including the EFL so we may offload 1 or 2 If anyone fancies em on loan.
    A little strange but there will have been reasons.

    Been mulling it over and the only thing that springs to mind is Collins being sold in the summer. Hence Hayton coming in on a 2 year deal. Then when Isted's loan is up we'll have Hayton and Searle.

    We should have another of those Barnsley v Barnsley friendlies. Goalkeepers v Outfield players. The outfield players have more variety but the Goalkeepers will probably win through sheer weight of numbers.
