    On a serious note, imagine how annoyed we'd be if that was us! What a shame for the player. Why didn't his agent or parents etc not realise?!

    Why the **** would declaring his ethnicity and race / colour have any baring in a transfer in football. Why is that even a question that would prevent a transfer going through. There are no published quotas on the ethnic mix of football club squads so the question is purely for statistical reason so surely the transfer could have gone through and the information be requested afterwards.

    If he didn’t complete the form then it doesn’t go through. You can’t have certain questions that have to be done and ones that you can follow up at a later unspecified time all on one form. If the paperwork is incomplete then it’s incomplete.

    Yeah don’t like to be pedantic but when folk say Of instead of Have is one of my pet hates, it’s usually folk from the West Midlands in the main.
