    He is, unfortunately quite unlikeable at times. I had the misfortune to be a mere young, female public facing level employee somewhere once. He had been somehow frustrated by a higher up but the nasty, petty and sexist language aimed at me instead of the person involved was enough to put me off forever.

    I’ve heard rumours that he was tight over the years & always after a freebie but I know he gave a huge sum of money to the Tiny Hearts charity to help open a new ward at Barnsley hospital to help look after sick babies so he’ll do for me.

    I don't think so - we did have him four times in the Val season but we won two and drew two. He even gave us a last minute penalty in one of the draws which must make him a total rarity the other way.

    Just had a look. I think it's the 0-0 away at Forest I remember. Pretty sure he turned away a stonewall penalty in the last minute.
