    That went down when Foggy (Brian Wild) left first time round, but certainly second time around.

    (It needed Sid in the Café and Wally Batty).

    It was a good series but should be left alone. Too many of the original cast cannot be in it. It would be like remaking Only Fools And Horses.

    Cleese is doing it for the money as divorces have knackered him. It wasn't that long ago probably last year that he was having a go at the BBC. Money talks.

    Fawlty Towers is my most loved sitcom. I cannot bear to watch a remake. 12 episodes of perfection.

    I can't agree on that, in it's golden days, it was alright. Maybe not great, but alright. Maybe it went on 30 years too long though.

    Incidentally, one episode early on was filmed at Cannon Hall (S01E03)

    I wonder if Lord Melbury got sent to prison and got roughed up by the guards in there. Ohh hang on, he wasn't a lord was he, and neither was his mate the Duke of Buckley. :D
