if he had stayed here. I'd like to think so. Was always one of my favourite players. Think with Duff looking after him he would have been as good if not better.

Agree. The long ball game, as favoured by Ismael with the ball blasted upfield, was never going to suit him and play to his strengths.

Very disappointed when he left. He'd certainly be doing a job for us.

Here we go again.....we can’t keep every player whose ever played for us hoping they turn out to be world beaters.......Chaplin was good squad player in championship and no more than that......we moved him on as a squad player and supposedly fetched better in(obviously not the case as it turned out) but let’s be fair no one expected last season to be as shi ite as it was.....Victor was same we moved him on and people pipe up later saying we shouldn’t have, it’s now starting with Jasper Moon.....oh for a crystal ball eh!

Very good at this level, possibly when he was playing for us in championship it was a bit too much.

Give over. Chaplin was brilliant for us. That hattrick against QPR was class . We were using Morris Dike, Woodrow, Chaplin, Frieser and Adebayejo every match at one stage. Chaplin was as good as Woodrow in my opinion.

He’s dropped a level and he’s approaching his peak years. He was bound to improve

He has found his level mate and it’s not championship which is the league we were in when we sold him..... not saying he is no good at all.... but he his a league one player.....Woodrow was courted by championship clubs and is a championship player....look where Chaplin is paying his trade for proof of what I am saying

He only missed 14 league games in two seasons.
