Big difference for me is that when Isted has played we don’t mess about at the back and give the ball away and concede goals. Ball goes forward every time. Whether that’s because he isn’t as good as Collins with the ball at his feet or not I don’t know. Definitely a change in playing style, but it makes Collins look bad when we p!ss about and concede - Isted hasn’t had that issue so far.

I’d also say I feel more confident with Isted when the high balls are launched into the box.

And people are replying with their opinion, plenty of people.

Yet you continue to bairn about it.

Collins was our most consistent player last season, and was outstanding under Val as we made the playoffs.

Isted looks decent, but it's a very small sample size so far.

Call it bairning if you want
But when that opinion is constantly challenged in ways that differ to the extent one is not an opinion but spoken as if indeed fact. And at times trying to ridicule. Becomes tiresome.
As for the rest re Collins it's your opinion. fine. I just don't agree with it.
I do agree with the last sentence.
It does as well pay to read posts carefully and not jump in. As Redrum was quick to do.

Opinions eh I think we are stronger with Isted in the net I accept it's a small sample size but every time we have needed him he's been there don't think there's any way you can drop him but I hope Collins back soon as the squad's stronger with him in it.

Reminded me of Clive baker who wasn’t,t tall but brilliant shop stopper and commanded his area.

Isted's handling was superb yesterday, and he put in a very impressive performance. I also think Collins is a very good keeper.

I read your post. I disagreed with it, as did plenty of folk. And it is fact that Collins was one of our best players over the last few years. To argue that is wrong.

No idea why you're trying to give me a comprehension lesson either, I can read what you write. I just disagree with it.

Baker was an excellent keeper and brilliant shot-stopper, though his lack of height sometimes caused problems when facing corners. If I remember rightly, under Bobby Collins' management, we once had an amazing run of 14 games during which we conceded only 3 goals! Paul Further was our defensive kingpin at the time.

Not my problem if you cant comprehend that Collins was one of the reasons and not the main reason. As in the response.

If he's saying that Collins hasn't been one of our most consistent and best players over the past 2 years then I'm afraid he is.

I'm afraid he isn't. It's an opinion which he is welcome to. He isn't arguing that 2+2 is 37 he's saying that in his opinion Collins has been part of the reason but not the main reason that we got relegated

I get that. I understand subjective and objective arguments. It's just that he's wrong. Brad Collins was not part of the reason we went down. He was the main reason we weren't embarrassed further.

It's like Pickford this year with Everton. They could go down. But he's probably been their best player. So to say he's at fault and not Prem quality is wrong. Same with Collins.

My personal opinion on Collins is what it's always been. One of the worst shot stoppers we've had. But one of the best sweeper keepers we've had too. When we played to those strengths he was the first name on the sheet, when we didn't he isn't anywhere near good enough. Under Val he was absolutely excellent. Last season he started well but went quickly downhill as we changed tactics due to piss poor management and this season he's been frankly awful
