Its horrible anti football and I wouldn't normally cross the road to watch it. But you have to lower yourself to their level and match them at it, in order to beat them.
By the sounds of it we've rode our luck today but sod em, who cares what they think. This is a huge win for us, well done lads. :)

I wouldn't say we rode our luck.

It was simply a bit of quality that was needed to win it.

    Thomas and Tedic supplied it.

Well in fairness they did only have 1 shot on target, I thought they had dominated the first half more than that.
I'd be interested to know what if anything Duff has learned from his changes, and what the sub's did when they came on.

I thought Cole and Tedic did more than Norwood and Watters but they had chased around for an hour and the defenders were tiring. Kane didn’t play well for me and Benson didn’t do much either but what was good was that none of them weakened the team when they came on.

Well the subs won it for us.

I think it's hard for Duff to learn too much from his substitutions, because he has at his disposal players who perpetually display inconsistency.

In other words they have good games and not so good games.

For example today the goalie was awful. Cadden, Watters and Phillips did not perform much.

Tedic and Thomas did the business today, but on another day they'll be anonymous.

That is why they play with us, I know.

Duff generally does hook off the ones who are having a bad day.

Watters gives the physical presence up front of course, but he always looks like he's just one challenge away from another red card. I'm sure Cole will start again for the next match, against an admittedly good team.
L.Thomas is a good impact sub at the moment and its good for us that we've got more options like that. Its something we really didn't have earlier on in the season.
As for Teddy, could this be what he needed to set him on a run of goals, which can often happen to strikers.

Watters had 2 good chances 1st half and a half chance beginning of 2nd half and took none.. looked poor today I'm not writing him off but I hope he kicks on

Chuffed for Tedic, his recent cameo's off the bench have been encouraging and scoring should do his confidence the world of good for our run in.

I agree, it was a well taken goal that should do his confidence a world of good

Best combination up top is definatley Cole and Norwood.

Waters has stature but doesn't seem to do much. Norwood always puts a shift in and today looked a little lost. Has to go back to Cole and Norwood on Tuesday and bring like on for last 30 to run his blood to water and hopefully rip them a new one.

Sorry, Prince of Riseborough. Was only having a laugh. Check my profile to see my hobbies.? When I follow everything with a smiley face, you know it’s not to be taken seriously.
The Cheltenham thread, on the other hand, was deadly serious, in every way. No smilies. & I will continue to voice that on National day etc. Have done for the life of this board & previous incarnations.
I’m no stranger to cheeky streams myself. Feel bad about celebrating goals from earlier audio, as not to spoil it for people viewing, but I know JD will beat me to it.
    No offence. COYR.. :)
