    Really

I’m sure Ian McMillan has a ST ticket for that block and even though he’s a bit over the top sometimes I would hardly call him a Nobhead

The View from Nobhead's Corner, by Richard Kell:

I tek me seeat in Nobheads Corner
At the Northern Front, on the away fans border
After eight pints, ar dun't watch 't pitch
I'd rather call an away fan a bitch

Ar dun't need football to have a good time
I'm happy making a wānker sign
    Sitting somewhere near Poetry Ian
Remind me wot wor score ageean?

I've a late nan who'd disagree with that statement.. we got her a book of Ian's poetry one Christmas as a joke, didn't go down well :D

Ee, I used to love ES7
I thowt I'd deed and gone to 'eaven
A cup of bovril for not much brass
I could've been at ooam wi ar lass

A lot has changed in ES7
    The glory days of '97
Are gone, no longer get that clamour
We now compete wi homes under t'hammer

But nar and then we get all primal
When t'massives come for our cup final
    ES7 under t'leets...
Ar, it wa one o' them special neets

They come along in a month o' Sundays
And brighten up my oft drab Mondays
Some folk say I'm a miserable git
But ES7, last night, wa lit.

I made mi way back tut bus station
And spared a thought for Harry Gration
    No-one makes it out alive
But a lot can ride on quart t'five.
