Tbf I would have said it was a Sheffield accent, if I didn't know who he was. Which part o Barnsley is he from?
Not sure where abouts he is from I'm barnsley. Think he started his amateur career at barnsley star aba (that's not in sheffield)
I’ve been fortunate enough to become friendly with him over the last 12 months. And I say that, because he’s an absolutely golden lad. Well mannered, humble and grateful to have his town behind him. He’s been at most of our games this season, he supports his hometown club. Missed a few when he was sparring with Beterbiev in Canada. Good friends with a few of the Reds players too. Loads of them at the event tonight as well as plenty of office staff. He’s going to the very top. And yes. We will be looking to have him fight at Oakwell one day. Get on the wagon now, Reds. The very top. None of that Warrington nonsense. Head butting folk. Just sparking folk with a quick right.
Seems a lovely lad and came across well when he was on pitch at Oakwell earlier in season, having photos with all kids in ponte etc Certainly getting plaudits from Sky and much deserved - nice simile to describe the opponent going down like a deckchair: https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/...-okolie-vs-david-light-stunning-one-punch-ko/
The commentator mentioned he sold a lot more tickets once our match had been called off, but clearly nobody pointed out to him that the camera kept showing the Reds first team - Collins, Kane, Benson and Connell. I was wondering why Kitching wasn’t with them, but then I think I saw him in his corner!
Not from us buddy. Unless people post private stuff on social media. None of us are ‘working’ if you know what I mean.
I think a few of the players posted pics on their Instagram accounts https://instagram.com/stories/herbi...ource=ig_story_item_share&igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY= https://instagram.com/stories/joshb...ource=ig_story_item_share&igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY= https://instagram.com/stories/bobby...ource=ig_story_item_share&igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY= https://instagram.com/stories/liamk...ource=ig_story_item_share&igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=
Just saw on Sky Sports News him being interviewed backstage. He was mentioning Barnsley chants with Kitching stood next to him.
feels like another boom time at barnsley all of a sudden. club, Callum Simpson, town centre, jumble lane bridge. stars just seem to be aligning. reminds me of when we had a barnsley owner, manager and captain. feel good factor was back and we were just steam rolling teams.
