    We would have stayed up but for that travesty, we'd been building some momentum and the manner of the defeat and suspensions killed us.

    Stayed up without a doubt that match killed the momentum we'd been building. I reckon without the bent or incompetent Willard, only he knows which it was, we'd have beaten Liverpool and gained even more confidence for the run in.

    Even after all this time, whenever I watch film of that match it makes my blood boil.

    Apart from Willard (apologies for the bad language) the performance of the Liverpool players was disgusting. Still can’t do with Ince, Suntan Redknapp, McManaman and that Danny Murphy - especially when he’s giving it large on MOTD.
