Isted is a good keeper. But the last couple of games the loanee has been of his game and our own number 1 who lost the shirt through no fault of his own should now be brought back in.

We lost to the better side. We were poor. Move on.
All the talk about not being able to make the play offs is nonsense.
9 games to go. Funny game football.

Poor team performance tonight, disappointing as it is I suspect we’ll see a big reaction on Setdy. COYR

Where? Everyone I've read has been sanguine and philosophical about it.

    No overreaction.

Final ball cost us imho. Plenty of chances to cause more problems in the final 3rd and we just didn’t deliver.

Not sure we got the tactics right with the subs. Thomas played far too deep to hurt them. We got a bit out of shape and all a bit hectic.

Exeter did well but not deserving of the accolades spouted on this thread.

A little bit of composure around the box and a little bit more luck with the ball dropping and we don’t lose.

That being said, that’s the worst we’ve defended for 4 months. Dreadful.

Thoroughly deserved victory for Exeter. They were better than us all over the pitch and could even have won by a bigger margin. Gutted to see the run end.
However, these lads have been brilliant for us this season and I'm certainly not going to lay into them, either individually or as a team, after the performances & results we've seen.

Well played lads, gave your all. As did Exeter and they played better on the night. Well done Exeter.

If we put the same effort in for the rest of the season the play-offs are assured and we might get automatic. If we don't, you lads have done amazing this season. It's been a pleasure watching you. Proper professionals.

Thank you. Now let's get that winning feeling back.

    You Reds!

Iam pretty sure Duffy will see what we've seen and will learn from it and the players, win and we're going to go up automatically, lose and ' we will be lucky to get in play offs ' for goodness sake get a grip. How many lost at Oakwell who expected to beat us ?

How was he poor against Wednesday? Did you even watch the match?

You’re just seeing that we conceded 2 goals and immediately attributing that to a poor performance by Isted. That is literally what you are doing. You’re not taking into account the multiple saves he did in particular one against a Michael Smith header at 2-1 to keep us hanging on.

Obviously you just go straight away moaning like a bairn instead of seeing it sensibly, realising it was ONE bad night at the office and on Saturday that team needs to show a marked improvement.

If again Isted plays poorly like he did tonight then maybe there should be a discussion as to whether we should bring Collins back in.

After seeing the S6 loss you'd have thought they could have learned that lesson before today!

I really didn't see it like that at all. Absolutely no lack of effort, just Exeter played well and we didn't quite get the rub on several occasions. Poor final ball a bit too often. It happens.

    You mean autos surely?

I haven't seen any talk of not making the play offs. From the position we are in, although you can't take anything for granted, at this stage the play offs looked nailed.

    The usual fine margins.

Williams J (probably our best player in my book) will not be showing this game to his grandkids.

Anyway, we just weren't good enough.

Think I’ve come to the conclusion why we haven’t had a penalty all season, how many times have you seen any of our midfield/strikers drive into the box?

it’s either a cross out wide, back to the defence and rebuild or a shot from distance.

Luke Thomas is perfect for that as he’s probably the best attacking dribbler we’ve got, I’d start him ahead of Phillips Saturday.
