Good luck to him, he wasn't the best we've ever had but (marginally) not the worst either....

He wasn't even the worst in the back line he was part of. Tom Kennedy and Scott Wiseman would often compete for that title.

He played 46 games in the 2011-12 season which was a good effort for someone missing an organ. Like you say he was far from the worst.

I'm just glad we had Foster and Hassell to pick up the pieces from those 3. What Hill saw in Wiseman I will never know. A back 4 of Wiseman, Kennedy, McNulty and "Mackavelli" still gives me PTSD

He had surgery for a torn liver. If he'd been missing his liver I doubt he'd have been in the team. Scratch that my Grandad died in 1997 and he'd have probably got in that defence.

He was never as crap as some on here would have it. Not great but not total crap. I still think he was better at left back (not left back in the changing room)

What was the back four that had us just outside the play offs before Vaz Te left?

That's not a dig or loaded question. I seem to remember he was widely thought to have had a good spell during his time with us when he was regularly getting plaudits.

Didn't Hill choose Wiseman over signing Trippier?

I believe someone fairly recently on here mentioned Trippier doing a podcast interview and said he loved it at Barnsley and he was going to sign for us permanently, but Keef wanted Wiseman instead.

He was very good in his first season for us. Injury ravaged 2nd season & like most of his teammates his performances were poor that season & then he went.
