I hope we are still in the hunt for Automatic when we play MK. Having been there with 4k travelling fans for the FA Cup game a few years ago, its a brilliant away day and I'd imagine we'd take even more.
Yeah, nice stadium, with adjustable seats. If memory serves there’s no divide between concourse and seating areas. We stopped off in Northampton on way there. Great day and result
Agreed. It was an almost local game for me because I lived in Princes Risborough at that time but it really was a pleasure going there. Ground right next to the A5 so easy to get to. Superb seats with plenty of leg room and a big Reds following. If we are still in the hunt for top two we will exceed that FA Cup following. With their ground configuration we could spread down both sides as far as the half way line, if we could sell that many. They are really getting very small home crowds so why not offer us 10,000 and see how many get snapped up?
I think I read the other day that they have a set up that can hold upwards of 13000 away fans if needed.
I'd like to go to mk this season if we reach the play offs or have chance of automatic. The only downside would be giving franchise fc my money which I've always been reluctant to do.
Think Ipswich and Wednesday were given around 7,000 and refused more, although I know Wolves had around 10,000 a few years back. I don't think we'll need anywhere near as many if it ends up being a dead rubber but can see a few thousand going regardless to celebrate the effort put in by all this season
Stayed there before the JPT final and got the train to Wembley, cracking hotel. Grounds far better than when they played at the hockey stadium, can remember Onabudgie missing a tap in
That was a bizarre away day. Their 1st ever game as MK Don's if memory serves loads of press and TV milling about. Hotter than the sun with no roof on the away end and they ran out of bottled water by half time. No pub anywhere near so pre match fodder and booze in the curry house just down the road. Very strange day....
Yes, it was a blisteringly hot day with no cover for us behind the goal and the lads played in all black. Perfect for a hot day Big Barry Conlon up front making his debut for us. Not the best number nine we've ever had. I was glad that I saw their first ever league game.
I saw REM there in 95. A hot, steamy summer day, somewhat ruined by the fact that I'd been dumped by my first serious girlfriend the night before. Still an absolutely immense gig though. As for MK Dons tickets, should be an epic day out if we're still in with a shot at automatic. Reckon if we've beaten Ipswich on the Tuesday we'll be able to shift 10k tickets.
