As easy a victory as they come. Morecambe had a couple of shots blazed over the bar and Dan Crowley was unlucky with the one that hit the post but it would have been totally undeserved had they gone home with even one consolation goal. It just showed today how big a gap there is between the top teams in this league and the rest but it still annoys me that we let the Shrimps, Wycombe and Lincoln take nine points off us before we started firing on all cylinders.

Some of the football today was really top drawer and the score should really have been seven or more to nil. 5-0 is a good statement. 8-0 would have been a proper eye opener for the rest who think they are going to finish ahead of us in May. Ok, top two is going to be a challenge but it's achievable because not only are we winning most of our games but we are winning them playing great football. No scratchy 1-0 wins for us :).

A win at Burton next Friday would be brilliant and set us up to wallop Shrewsbury on Monday the way Charlton did today. Listening to PorG on the way home was a real treat with more than one Owls fan writing off their chances of automatic promotion. Of course they will win the play offs though (apparently). I think not! I reckon it's us and Ipswich for the top two with Plymouth maybe winning the final at Wembley.

I would have given it to Dev. Seems a bit weird giving MOM to a centre-half in a 5-0 match, against a side that offered absolutely zero attacking threat all game.

Cole MoTM for me, defenders didn’t have much to do. Not seen a more one-sided game in our favour for a long time, turned into a friendly with all those subs.

Aye, looked more like a training game for most of it. Morcambe put in a bit of effort early in the 2nd half but apart from that, very poor indeed. I'm afraid that relegation looks a certainty for them.

Just a shame that Dev didn't bag the hat trick today.
But he will, and it will happen when we need it the most. ;)

Sorry have to disagree, they didn’t have much to deal with to be fair, but those 2 bad fouls on Luca in the first half and no card was abysmal. Our first yellow card offence by Kitching duly got a yellow. It’s inconsistency and it’s wrong. Thought he gave them a few sympathy decisions as well second half.

To be fair we got away with a couple of yellows as well. One by Kane in particular. I agree one in particular on Connell should have been a yellow. Not a difficult game to ref but plenty of refs could have made it harder. I thought the ref was ok

I thought the ref was pretty anonymous, which is usually a sign they've had a decent game. I didn't think there was much to ref tbh. No really contentious incidents that I remember.
