I think this will dent the SNP vote. It can't do anything other. Lots of people will look at this and think 'corruption' which is exactly the kind of argument which until recently the SNP could level against the nasty party. With the new leader and some discourse about direction and policy this is another 'gift' to the SNPs enemies. Opposition parties will milk this....

Aye it was for a new referendum, but there was no new referendum. So where did the money go? Maybe it’s under their front lawn…

I’m sure the establishment will get to the truth very soon unlike when they are asked to investigate any tories.

This Murrell thing going on reminds me of Porridge when Fletcher wanted his garden dug up.
Police looking for non existent loot buried in the wife’s garden.

This self-identifying nonsense has also damaged them. The Alec Salmond debacle as well wasn’t a good look. We may find people still in favour of Scottish independence but not at any cost.

Remember the one where Blanco had them digging up Leeds United's pitch.... now that would be funny.

But of course Sturgeon knew nothing about this just like Johnson knew nothing about illegal parties. She was First Minister not some lackey and yet people still make excuses

Interesting mate. But I’m sure further enquiries will continue. Seems a lot of activity so they must be confident of some sort of misdoing.
I’m sure all will come out in the wash.
