Forget the loss. The refs performance wont be reviewed ans it wont be discussed with it being Barnsley and League One. If that was the premier league it would be all over the news. Something needs to happen as there game changing decisions. Ref was totally out of his depth all game. Even when trying to decide a corner or goal kick.
Daft how a guy his age is expected to run the line and keep up with play. Him and the ref hopelessly staring at each other wondering whether to give a goal kick or corner.
Yeah I was surprised how old he was. They do rigorous fitness tests so he must pass those. I’ve no issue with his age, and it’s great if a 103 year old can run the line, just only if they can keep up with play!
The EFL say referees are nothing to do with them. Funny if a player or manager criticises them in public they are fined or suspended
I'm 67 and I could have kept up with play better than him, he was quite a tubby old boy. I think some of the taunting from the lads in front of me got to him at one point and he started answering back. Not very professional at all.

Well he was bumped into by another player. Red and Yellow so easily confused. A bit like it’s hard to spot the difference between an arm and a chest
Yeah I noticed that - fairly sure he was mouthing back at the ‘ponty end’ when he gave a corner (or didn’t!)
